trying to troubleshoot on why my delete key (backspace key) does not working anymore..tried the few suggestions in many different forums. pram reset etc..
tried 2 different wireless keyboards and result is the same.
running 10.6.8 osx
i am thinking there is some setting some where is is not correct. the delete key on the on screen keyboard is working ok as well.
any suggestions would be appreciated.

Please do a SMC reset, click iMac SMC and PRAM reset for instructions.
I'm running MacOS Sierra and Safari 10. The delete key doesn't work in Facebook, but works on this page. It works on Facebook with Firefox. It may be a Facebook problem or a Java script or other web page coding problem specific to Safari.
Please reset the SMC 2-3 times and if that does not work, try another keyboard (any USB keyboard will work) to determine if your keyboard is failing or if it's an issue with FB.
